The singed tart is a popular dish that characterizes Alsatian food and reminds a little bit pizza. Traditional filling: white cheese, onions, ham. We have different sorts of tarts, for example with chicken, mushrooms or vegetables and also sweet singed tarts with fruits.
Choucroute - Finely cut cabbage, fermented and cooked in white wine served with Montbeliard’s sausages, Francfort’s sausages, bacon and potatoes. This dish is the most representative of Alsace through the world.
Baeckeofe - This dish is a tradition in Alsace. Made of potatoes, meats and vegetables mixed and cooked with spices and white wine.
Bibeleskaes - It’s a German specialty Alsatian and Baden tendency, composed of white cheese, garlic and herbs, Foret Noire ham and potatoes cooked in the oven.
